Sub Contract Cryogenic Deflashing – Freeze Trimming Specialists

Sub Contract Cryogenic Deflashing, or otherwise better known, as Freeze Trimming

is a well established process within the Rubber Moulding , Zinc Diecastings and Plastic Moulding Industries.

Using Liquid Nitrogen provided by Air Products and stored In our On Site Cryo Tank , the product is frozen, with minus(-) temperatures dependent on the material makeup of the compound. Once frozen the Cryogenic Barrelling or Cryogenic Shot Blasting process will remove the weaker material this weaker material will be Flash or Burr. No detrimental effect to the product is caused during the process as once the product returns to ambient temperature all of its properties return. Any items from a tiny rubber washer to large rubber bonded products can be processed.

The process of Freeze Shot Blasting or Freeze Barrelling is complimented with optional hand operations such as Hand Trimming and Inspection.

We are able to react to any suggestion and can turn parts around same day using a parcel carrier or provide a while-u-wait service.
